prdastudio embraced this interior renovation project with the belief that small changes can yield significant impacts. In this house, characterized by small rooms with no-frills functions, we sought to reinvigorate the house by connecting the spaces with approachable solutions that are practical but also add a sense of aesthetic and charm to the home.
Collaborating closely with the homeowners, we strategically reconnected the kitchen to the other living spaces in the house and added windows for a flood of light. Organizing the casework layout allows for clear and tidy countertops while using open shelves to showcase and highlight the room with moments of joy and vibrant colors. The darker green tone-on-tone cabinets are complemented with textural glazed brick tiles and white oak accents that results in a kitchen that boldly diverges from conventional typologies. This thoughtful design not only maximizes functionality but also infuses the kitchen with a distinct personality.
The bathroom, approached from a function-first perspective, underwent a rejuvenation with playful colors and an artfully integrated palette to bring warmth and charm to the room. The result is an interior transformation where small adjustments reverberate, making a substantial difference in both aesthetics and functionality.
